ACAA and LA84 Foundation Successfully Held the China-US Sports Culture Forum

The ACAA welcomes the Guangdong Women's Gymnastics Team to the United States for training and exchange.

At the invitation of the World Elite Gymnastics Club of America and the Chinese American Sports Association, the Guangdong Women's Gymnastics Team, led by Ms. Zhu Liping, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Gymnastics Center, conducted technical exchanges and physical training with the American Gymnastics Club. The team members benefited greatly from the mutual learning and hope that through in-depth exchanges, both sides can achieve excellent results in future international competitions.

ACAA welcomes Fujian Anxi Tieguanyin Women's Volleyball Team to visit Los Angeles

A warm welcome to the Fujian Women's Volleyball Team for their friendly match in Los Angeles! Thank you to the former national team players from the American Chinese Sports Association for their strong support! We wish the Fujian Women's Volleyball Team, led by Team Leader Xiao and renowned coach Hu Jin, a complete success on their visit to the United States!

The ACAA welcomes the Shanghai Men's Water Polo Team, the national champions, to visit the United States.

The Chinese American Sports Association welcomes the Shanghai Men's Water Polo Team, the national champions, to visit the United States. Promoting people-to-people sports exchanges and friendly relations has always been an important mission of the Chinese American Sports Association.

A series of events promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, talent, and investment through sports, a collaboration between China and the United States, were held in Los Angeles.

ACAA fans cheered for Han Xu's WNBA debut.

On June 15, 2019, at 7 PM, the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks hosted the New York Liberty at Staples Center. Han Xu, a 19-year-old rookie from the Chinese national women's basketball team and a 2017 graduate of Tsinghua University High School, made her Staples Center debut. ACAA members traveled to Staples Center to support Han Xu, and the Los Angeles Sparks also held a post-game event for fans to interact with her.

ACAA volunteer team at the 2019 Los Angeles Marathon

The 2019 Los Angeles Marathon saw over 24,000 athletes from 63 countries and all 50 states participate. The Chinese American Sports Association, as a volunteer team, provided support and encouragement to the runners at the 11th mile (Holland Chinese Theatre) water station, offering water and encouragement through their actions!

ACAA Participates in a Grand Banquet for the Chinese Sports Community

In February 2019, a grand banquet was held at the Bicycle Club Hotel for members of the Chinese sports community. Attendees included 25 members of the Chinese National Beach Volleyball Team, 50 members of the Chinese National Track and Field Team, 40 members of the American Chinese Sports Association, and representatives from friendly organizations passionate about sports: the Shanghai People's Association, the Hunan Chamber of Commerce, and volunteer teams. The event was hosted by LEO Zhu, a sports enthusiast, member of the U.S. Paralympic Committee, and honorary president of the American Chinese Sports Association. It allowed current and retired national team athletes and Olympic athletes to express their sentiments, toasting to the Tokyo Olympics, the cultivation of more athletic talent for the future, and to the cause of sports—the messengers of world peace and human health!
